What took him most off was how casual she had reacted to the entire decision. It was as if it were something long thought out, like this was a plan she was absolutely determined to go through with.

"You really mean it hun?" Dark brown eyes met hers, not at all seeming to mind the cool touch of metal against his skin. If anything it had oddly enough grown into a form of comfort.
